Sound Healing

Sound healing is an ancient wellness practice that uses various sound frequencies to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and improve physical and mental well-being. Sound vibrations have a powerful effect on our minds and bodies.

Sound healing is a therapeutic practice based on the principle that everything in the universe is made up of energy and vibration, and that sound can be used to balance and harmonize this energy.

Sound healing, or a sound bath, works by using specific sound frequencies to stimulate the body's natural healing mechanisms. When we are exposed to sound, our brain waves entrain to the frequency of the sound, which can promote relaxation, reduce stress and anxiety, and promote physical healing. Different frequencies are believed to have different healing effects.  Julie uses various instruments such as singing crystal bowls, metal bowls, and tuning forks to produce these frequencies.

Sound healing can be an individual experience or a group experience.  In addition, sound healing can be incorporated into other practices, such as yoga and reiki.
